BREAKING CASE NEWS - NO JUSTICE FOR DUKE
A message from Duke Amachree to the supporters of CCFON and CLC: To all who have been supporting me I am sad to announce that I have lost my case with Wandsworth Council. As you know, last year I suggested to a client with an incurable illness that she should not give up hope but try putting her faith in God, which led to my dismissal by Wandsworth Council for gross misconduct Sadly the tribunal has ruled that the Council were right to dismiss me for my comments. They also found that the Council had not discriminated against me on the basis of my religion. In addition, the tribunal took the view that I had breached confidentiality by publicising my case. The decision has come as a huge surprise to me and my legal team. I had worked for Wandsworth Council for 18 years and had an unblemished record. Yet, as a result of the comments I made in one 45 minute housing interview, I was subject to 6 months of investigations by the Council and put under huge strain. My solicitor was even told by the Council that saying “God bless” to a client would require an investigation if a client complained. The client herself expressly stated that she did not want me to be dismissed for what I had said and I had never been told that such small talk in a housing interview was prohibited. I will be appealing the decision with the backing of my legal team. This is a sad day for Christians who simply want to live out their faith in the workplace without fear. But my heartfelt thanks goes to all of those who have supported me, including the Christian Legal Centre, who I know will continue to stand with me as we contend for justice.

A SERIOUS RESPONSE TO UNWISE STATEMENTS
The following is a response by David Frankfurter of Live Journal to David Cameron’s unwise statements in Turkey yesterday.
"British Prime Minister, David Cameron, exploited his visit to Turkey to curry favour with his hosts, using Palestinian propaganda hype, saying that Israel’s blockade turned the Gaza strip into a “prison camp”.
Every last Israeli left Gaza long before Hamas' bloody take-over. Closing the borders and even war has not stopped the incessant rockets and terrorist attacks on Israeli citizens and border checkpoints. More than 30 terrorist attacks come out of Gaza each month.
Applying international law, Israel inspects the constant flow of goods through its borders into Gaza, in an attempt to exclude war material. Propagandists (and it seems European politicians) conveniently ignore the rules of war and international law, and claim these actions to be a form of occupation. They declare that Israel ruthlessly keeps Gazans in poverty.
Visiting international politicians and aid agency representatives are taken to view the deliberately unrepaired damage of the war Hamas provoked. Poverty stricken areas, including families living in plastic tents since their houses were destroyed in the war, are all on the carefully pre-arranged agenda. Israel is obligingly condemned. And more western tax payer money is pledged to the highest ever per capita aid program.
Although of little interest to the mainstream media, Gazan "poverty" is strongly questioned in the blogosphere. No accumulation of facts seems to be able to stop the constant flow of lies, cynically manipulated into very effective anti-Israel (and often anti-Semitic) propaganda.
Even the Palestinian media reports a very different picture. There is an abundance of both basic and luxury goods. It is not clear if it comes via the Egyptian border, underground tunnels, or the thousands of trucks that the Israelis officially allow to stream through their border crossings. But the fact is that there is plenty, and often at very attractive prices.
Ordinary Palestinian citizens say that there is enough to go around - but the Hamas apparatchiks steal it.
And what of building materials to house those wretched families? Somehow, they don't seem to rank in the Hamas list of priorities. A brand new shopping mall replete with luxury goods, a luxury hotel fancy restaurant, an olympic size pool and a fancy jail to lock up prisoners accused of crimes such as "passing information to the Palestinian Authority" do make it into the list of latest completed projects, though.
Electricity shortages? Also an internal problem. Seems that Hamas collects electricity bills from the end user & then steals the money - expecting the Palestinian Authority and international donors to pay the Israeli suppliers. When the suppliers want their overdue money before providing more goods, who do you guess is blamed?
But those wretched Palestinians are suffering. Then again, life expectancy, infant mortality, and even cell phone penetration statistics show Gaza to be better off than other Muslim countries – and in many cases better than most places on earth!
Forgotten is the Economist report of 2004 that the West Bank and Gaza rank amongst the most obese populations in the world.
But what about the charge that Israel has turned Gaza into a large open-air jail? We all value freedom of movement. We want to be able to leave our country of residence either permanently or temporarily for vacation, to receive better medical care, to advance our education or business. But of course, we all know that no-one can get in or out. Don't we?
Israel can be forgiven for being very cautious about allowing enemy aliens through its territory - after all Hamas has officially and openly declared its intent to wipe Israel off the map and sends regular rockets across the border to remind us all. Nevertheless, many people do cross the border - usually for humanitarian reasons, often to receive medical treatment in Israeli hospitals.
But what everyone seems to forget is that Israel is not Gaza's only border. Fellow Arab country Egypt, which has supported the Palestinian cause since it was first invented, is linked to Gaza with a little more than 11 km of border, and an official crossing at Rafah.
So why an open air prison? The Palestinian Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR) regularly exposes the real problem in its monthly reports.
Gaza residents are still suffering from the unavailability of passport books since November 2008 until the end of this current month. According to ICHR information obtained from officials from the Ministry of Interior of the Deposed Government, the MOI in the West Bank does not send passport books for citizens in Gaza Strip which entails depriving them from the right to travel and movement. In addition, it affects most of those in urgent need for traveling abroad for seeking medical care, university education, students and thousands of expatriates whose passports have expired and require renewal.
International travel, even via Egypt, requires a passport. The PA won't issue Gazans with passports. Gazans can't travel. That's Israel's fault. Clear?

Catholic Care ruling The Charities Commission has ruled that Leeds based charity Catholic Care may not change its constitution to allow it to continue to place children only with heterosexual parents. Mark Wiggin, Chief Executive of Catholic Care, said at the time of the original Court case: “In effect, we are being invited either to stop our adoption work or stop being a Catholic charity. WHY DO 'CHRISTIANS FOR ZION' REPORT ON HAMAS ACTIVITIES?
Much of the news that is published on the Christians for Zion web site involves the activities of HAMAS, the governing party in Gaza.
The UN have labelled HAMAS a terrorist organisation and HAMAS certainly lives up to that label, targeting Israeli civilian communities situated near to Gaza with rockets, mortars and infiltrations of suicide bombers. HAMAS also have a record of terrorising their own people by:
· enforcing Sharia law
· demolishing the homes of those who do not show support to them
· preventing aid being distributed
· using women and children as human shields
· carrying out illegal executions
· rocketing and bombing Israeli civilian communities
· and of course holding hostages in a way that breaks every rule in the Geneva convention and UN Human Rights Policies
Does HAMAS with its agenda of terror affect only Israel and Arabs living in Gaza?
Their tentacles of terror reach all over the world including the UK. The UK, and in particular London, has been a focal point for HAMAS propaganda and activism for over ten years now. HAMAS alongside the “Muslim Brotherhood” have managed to turn the UK into an arena from which to raise a great deal of anti-Israel activity and propaganda.
Why is the UK so central for HAMAS?
The UK is a soft target for pro-Palestinian activists for a number of reasons.
The UK has freedom of political action and freedom of speech.
This enables HAMAS to promote its anti-Israeli activity with impunity and to exploit the democratic policies of the UK in order to spread vicious incitement against Israel and the Jews. HAMAS have been able to manipulate the British justice system by bringing law suits against senior Israeli politicians and military leaders for so called war crimes, making it difficult for the British Government to welcome them into the UK.
HAMAS and its Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades are included in the EU list of terror organisations, HAMAS should therefore be banned in the UK however the British legal system is very tolerant and radical Islamic fundamentalists exploit this.
HAMAS have also been able to infiltrate British politics by affiliating with groups patronised by such influential people as George Galloway, Ken Livingstone, Jenny Tonge, Jeremy Corbin and of course Tony Benn.
HAMAS have been able to influence the UK Media by creating and promoting a Pro-Palestinian Humanitarian strategy.
Having their own publications in the UK, HAMAS are able to create and disseminate their own news reports amongst the Muslim fundamentalist groups within each major UK city.
HAMAS publish in London an online bi-weekly called “Al-Fateh”, which is aimed at children. “Al-Fateh” has its internet services located in Moscow.
Another publication is the monthly “Filastin al-Muslima,” which has been issued in London since 1981. It demonises Israel, spreading hate and propaganda. “Filastin al-Muslima” is published in both hard copy and online. Although its address is not shown, subscription fees for Britain, Europe, the United States and Canada are all listed in pounds sterling. The subscription cost for the UK as from January this year is listed at £25.
HAMAS are careful to hide their identity in the UK; however one of their activists - Muhammad Kazem Sawalha - is living in Britain. Sawalha publically supports Jihad. He was wanted by Israel security services, but managing to escape from Jordan in 1990 he has since been living in the UK. He is believed to be involved in the organisation of the Viva Palestinia convoy from the UK to Gaza led by George Galloway in January this year and in the planning of the recent flotilla.
These are not the only reasons we at Christians for Zion keep HAMAS in the headlines.
The activities of pro-Palestinian activists here in the UK, together with the propaganda and misinformation they promulgate are influenced heavily by HAMAS. Many British Christian organisations wanting to support “oppressed Palestinians” have unwittingly come under this influence.
As Christians we have a duty to challenge our brothers and sisters in the faith to seek the truth about the Middle East and also to report accurately the situation in Israel.
Organisations such as:
· Justice and Peace
· Christian Aid
· Evangelical Alliance
· Sabeel
· The Amos Trust
· and many others hold a pro-Palestinian stance, publishing incorrect information and in some cases totally demonising Israel. This encourages HAMAS to pursue a strong relationship with many of these Christian organisations in the hope of legitimising their activities in the UK.
Christians for Zion have been actively involved in petitioning the leaders of such churches as Bloomsbury Baptist Church, London who host Palestinian Solidarity Campaign meetings legitimising the anti-Semitic views held by the PSC.
In an effort to bring balance to the extreme anti-Israel/Zionist views expounded by some Churches and ecumenical anti-Israel groups in the UK Christians for Zion travel throughout the UK teaching Biblical truths, historic and current facts about Israel, in the form of a seven week course, to enable Christians and non Christians to correctly evaluate the major issues concerning Israel.
There is no doubt that those who support the radical Palestinian activists are in essence supporting HAMAS ideology and ultimately International Terror. Many in the Church are being deceived into supporting these factions, however it is crucial that we do all we can to educate Christians to make an informed choice.
In order to help believers make informed choices we advise that they:

Keep up to date with news reports from Pro-Israel Web sites and not just rely on British media outlets to give you their news. |

Join groups or Churches who pray for Israel. |
|
Do not remain in a congregation which supports Pro-Palestinian organisations either financially or actively. Your money may find its way into the pockets of HAMAS or you may find that your leader is connected to one of the organisations we have mentioned. If you are in a pro-Palestinian anti-Israel congregation you will certainly be receiving messages which are rooted in Replacement Theology and against the truth of Scripture. |

'LAST DAYS' MANIPULATION OF PRESS
You will no doubt have seen on the news that the 'bad' Israelis attacked a convoy trying to bring 'humanitarian' aid to Gaza. They gave a very "Negative" view of Israel as usual.
Please will you forward the TRUE STORY to friends so the "Real" Facts are known. Here they are.....
Prior to the violence this morning, Israel had repeatedly warned the activists not to approach the coast of Gaza and had offered to allow them to dock at the Israeli port of Ashdod or the Egyptian port of El-Arish and unload their humanitarian cargo so that it could be inspected and then passed on to Gaza under the auspices of the United Nations. They refused this option and insisted on attempting to run the blockade. Therefore, they are the ones who are responsible for this mornings violence.
No doubt you will not see this printed or broadcast on any news media, just the "Negative" side. This is just to redress the balance. It would be good if you could pass this on to as many as possible .

GRAVES DESECRATED WHILST HOLOCAUST IS REMEMBERED - ANTI-SEMITISM RISES IN FRANCE AND UK
On 27th January, the 65th anniversary of the
liberation of Auschwitz the sick behaviour of
anti-Semites in France continued with the
desecration of 18 gravestones in the Jewish Cronenbourg Cemetery in
Strasburg.
Eighteen Tombstones were marked with Swastikas and some stones had been turned
over. Some of the gravestones were daubed with the words “Juden Raus” which
means Jews out.
There are approximately 600,000 Jews living in France
many of whom were, or have relatives who escaped the worst stain on
humanity - the Holocaust. France has an appalling
record of anti-Semitism since the war.
The figures for anti-Semitic attacks in France
during 2009 have just been published by The Jewish Protection Service. There
were a total of 832 compared with 474 last year. Most involved graffiti and
threatening gestures. 17% involved vandalism and violence.
The Community Security Trust, a Charity who records anti-Semitic attacks in the
UK has published the following figures for 2009.
They say they have never seen figures over 600 previously:
"CST recorded 924 antisemitic incidents in 2009. This is the highest annual
total since it began recording antisemitic incidents in 1984, and is 55 per cent
higher than the previous record of 598 incidents in 2006.

KUNDALINI WARNING - Urgent

I just saw the video of
Rick Joyner
announcing that
Todd Bentley
is back ministering every
night at Morningstar in
North Carolina
and now they have so-called
"revival" manifestations eerily similar to
Lakeland.
They also announced that they are streaming these big meetings every night on
their new TV channel - and they are greatly promoting the whole thing.
Now I am a tongues-speaking Pentecostal myself - but can I ask a simple question
here please? What kind of "spirit" was it operating in the
Lakeland
revival - when the leader and main
focal-point of the meetings (Todd
Bentley) was having
an adulterous affair behind the scenes? Was it truly the "Holy" Spirit that was
anointing something so sensual and unholy? And now that
Todd
divorced his wife and married his
mistress - are we supposed to welcome him back and this "anointing" with him?
What is going on here?

has been warned very specifically
by high-level ministries not to do what he is doing now - bringing
Todd Bentley
back into the limelight.
And yet it seems he does not care. Apparently the "manifestations" are all
that matter.
So what exactly are these 'manifestations' if they are seemingly at home in such
an unholy environment? Are they from God at all? (I am talking here about the
violent "jerking", uncontrollable laughter, bodily contortions, drunkenness,
'portals', strange "angel" encounters, etc.) Why do we not see such an
'anointing' in the Bible? Why aren't Jesus or the apostles promoting these
manifestations if they really are true Revival? Why instead do we see these
things all the way through the New Age and Hinduism, etc? Do we not realize
that many false religions have their own version of "laying on of hands" that
results in these very types of manifestations? This 'spirit' is not in the
Bible - but it is all the way through Kundalini-type Hinduism! Don't you think
this should alarm us?
WHAT is KUNDALINI?
If you search for Kundalini and Shakti on the Internet, you will find that
multitudes of people in the New Age and Eastern religions still experience these
powerful manifestations. Often this is with the help of a Guru, who touches
them on the forehead so that they can experience a "Kundalini Awakening".
As researcher
Robert Walker wrote
in 1995:
"The meetings which mystic Hindu gurus hold are called 'Darshan'. At these
meetings devotees go forward to receive spiritual experience from a touch by the
open palm of the hand, often to the forehead, by the guru in what is known as
the Shakti Pat or divine touch. The raising of the spiritual experience is
called raising Kundalini… After a period when the devotee has reached a certain
spiritual elevation they begin to shake, jerk, or hop or squirm uncontrollably,
sometimes breaking into uncontrolled animal noises or laughter as they reach an
ecstatic high. These manifestations are called 'Kriyas'. Devotees sometimes
roar like lions and show all kinds of physical signs during this period. Often
devotees move on to higher states of spiritual consciousness and become inert
physically and appear to slip into an unconsciousness..."
And as the guru
Shri Yogãnandji Mahãrãja
wrote:
"When Your body begins trembling, hair stands on roots, you laugh or begin to
weep without your wishing, your tongue begins to utter deformed sounds, you are
filled with fear or see frightening visions… the Kundalini Shakti has become
active."
In China there is a popular Kundalini-type movement called 'Qigong'. When a
Chinese Qigong spiritual master spoke in the
USA
in 1991, the
San Francisco
Chronicle reported that
many in the crowd began to experience "spontaneous movements". The master told
his audience, "Those who are sensitive might start having some strong physical
sensations - or start laughing or crying. Don't worry. This is quite normal."
When you see videos of these "kriyas" or other Kundalini-type manifestations,
you would often swear that you are watching a modern "Impartation"-type church
meeting. (And I say this as someone who believes strongly in the gifts of the
Holy Spirit. I just don't believe in "alien" anointings infiltrating the Body
of Christ! There is a big difference between Kundalini and the real Holy
Spirit).
Since 1993-4, I believe a foreign spirit has been allowed to invade the church -
first through
Rodney Howard-Browne's
ministry – then
Toronto, then the
Prophetic movement (which I was part of at the time) and on into
Lakeland
and many other ministries and
movements. I urge people now to "test the spirits" just as we are commanded to
in Scripture. Do not let just anyone lay hands on you. This is a powerful
spirit and it has the backing of a lot of big-name ministries. In fact, these
men and women are the very ones responsible for allowing it to spread right
through the body of Christ. And one day they will be answerable to God for
doing so.
We are specifically warned in the Bible that the Last Days will be a time of
"seducing spirits," false prophets, 'lying signs and wonders,' and that we
always need to watch for "angels of light" masquerading as the real thing. Why
does the modern church not take these warnings seriously? Aren't we living in
the very days that the Bible warns about?
Right now I need to do something that I have never done in such a way before. I
have never before published a list of ministries or movements to watch out for.
But this time I have to. This sickness has gone on long enough. I urge you to
cut yourself off from the following ministries and their tainted "anointings" my
friends. Even though some of these people say "good things" at times, it is
simply not worth having any involvement with them due to the tainted anointing
that they endorse or minister in themselves. Here is the list-

(2) Rodney Howard
Browne - the
so-called "Holy Ghost Bartender"
(2) Rick Joyner
or anyone connected
with Morningstar Ministries
(3) John Arnott
& any connected with TACF (The "Toronto
Blessing").

Apostolic Reformation' who claims to be head of a worldwide network of
'apostles' - who publicly endorsed
Lakeland
and will soon preach at
Toronto
TACF alongside other "false
anointing" advocates
(5) Mike Bickle
and IHOP
Kansas
City (I lived nearby for over two
years - and know how much they are into all this stuff.
Mike Bickle
promotes it in his book)
(6) Bob Jones
- the Kansas City
prophet whose ministry is utterly tainted by it all
(7) Patricia King
and anyone else from 'Extreme Prophetic'
(8) John Crowder
& anyone connected
with "Sloshfest"
(9) Bill Johnson
of Bethel church,
Redding
- who says some good things
but publicly endorsed Lakeland and promotes the "false anointing" very strongly
behind the scenes
(10) Heidi
&
Rolland Baker
of IRIS Ministries - who do
good work amongst the poor in
Mozambique
- but who have also carried and
promoted this tainted anointing for years
(11) Randy Clark,
Wes
&
Stacey Campbell,
and other key figures from the "Toronto
blessing"
(12) The Elijah List - and almost anyone featured on it
Of course there are a huge number of lesser-known preachers and ministries who
carry or endorse this Kundalini-type "anointing" around the world. But I have
concentrated here on the most influential that I know of. It really is an
enormous issue in the church. I urge anyone who is a supporter of any of the
above ministries to really check them out thoroughly. If you find (as I have)
that they carry or endorse this false Kundalini spirit in the church, then
please stop supporting them in any way - and whatever you do, don't let them
"lay hands" on you!
I am putting everything on the line to be "naming names" like this. But I
believe it is that serious. How on earth did we get to the point where "kriyas"
just like Hinduism are spreading through the church?
Please forward this email to everyone you know, blogs and boards, etc. These
people are trying to "relaunch" this whole thing right now. Help us get this

AN OPEN LETTER TO CHURCH LEADERS IN THE UK
A SHAMEFUL SILENCE
I was shocked when I read the following recently:
In an interview with Premier Christian Radio earlier this year, Sheikh Dr
Muhammad al-Hussaini (a Muslim), founder of Scripture Reasoning and Lecturer in Islamic Studies at Leo Beck Rabbinical College, blamed the church hierarchy in the UK for not protesting vociferously and actively at Christian persecution around the world. Al-Hussaini mentioned specifically horrendous machete attacks on Christians in Nigeria, Iraqi Christians being burned out of their homes and Christians in Pakistan being stoned or attacked on the slightest pretext. He highlighted Barnabas Fund’s efforts on behalf of persecuted Christians as an example of how concerned Christians ought to respond to the plight of their fellow Christians.While Muslims are hypersensitive to any ill-treatment of Muslims anywhere in the world, he added, they remain silent about the persecution of Christians in their midst. Many Muslims are simply looking for scapegoats to punish for their own troubles. They know that churches in the West will not do more than utter a whimper, as this issue is not sufficiently important to them, [my emphasis] mainly because those suffering are neither white nor wealthy, so they can go on with impunity blaming Crusader-Zionist conspiracies for everything.
He called upon the church to be a voice for justice for persecuted minorities, which he claims would speak "into the heart of the Muslim community".
In the light of the above condemnation from a Muslim sheikh is it not time to repent
- of our cowardly silence?
- of our parochialism, apathy and indifference to the plight of untold numbers of Christians who are suffering persecution daily? - of our ignorance of what is being done to the church around the world, when so much information is available? - of not wanting to ‘rock the boat’ and upset relations with leaders of other faiths?Is it not time to
- find out about the suffering of our fellow-believers?
- encourage Christians to give financially to ease their suffering?
- protest their treatment?
- encourage Christians to pray for them?

CONTROVERSIAL U.K. MAYOR CUTS GAY PRIDE FUNDING, PLEDGES END TO POLITICAL CORRECTNESS IN GOVERNMENT

The recently elected mayor of
Doncaster,
in South Yorkshire,
has infuriated Britain's politically powerful homosexual lobby by attempting to
withhold local funding for this year's Gay Pride celebrations. The funding for
this year's event in June went through, but Mayor
Peter Davies, a member of the English Democrat
party and the father of Tory MP Philip Davies,
has scrapped all future funding for the annual Gay Pride event.
"I'm not a homophobe," he said, "but I don't see why council taxpayers
should pay to celebrate anyone's sexuality."
Davies is only the
second mayor of Doncaster
to have been elected directly by a popular vote rather
than by council members. He campaigned on a popular platform, that has
reportedly alarmed the political classes on both the Labour and Tory sides of
the House, in which he pledged to "stamp out political correctness" in
every area of Doncaster's
local government.
To accomplish this, Davies
has recruited the group Campaign Against Political
Correctness (CAPC) to consult on his planned reforms. A spokesman for the CAPC,
John Midgley, said
that "people are crying out" for an end to the wave of
politically correct policies in Britain. "We commissioned a survey by ICM,"
Midgley said, "that said
80 per cent of people are fed up to the back teeth with it."
Davies promised to end
council funding for "politically correct initiatives" and to "scrap
politically correct non-jobs" such as "community cohesion officers"
and "encourage the former employees to seek meaningful employment."
In his first week in office, Davies
fulfilled his promises by cutting his own salary from
£73,000 to £30,000; reducing the number of councillors from 63 to 21, saving the
town £800,000 a year. He immediately announced plans to reduce council tax by 3
per cent and got rid of the mayoral limousine. He ended a "twinning"
arrangement with five towns around the world, which he described as "just for
people to fly off and have a binge at the council's expense."
While campaigning earlier this year, and in the midst of a national pandemic of
violent youth crime, Davies,
who is a retired school teacher, called for harsher punishments for "young
thugs." As a founding member of the Campaign for Real Education,
Davies has pressed for
restoration of traditional methods in schools that he says will reduce crime and
restore Britain's once-legendary public order.
He also called on the government to withdraw Britain from the European Union
"in order to save billions of pounds each year and return control of the
country's affairs to our own parliament."
Calling him the UK's "most gloriously un-PC" mayor, the Daily Mail's
Robert Hardman asked,
"Who should be most worried about his success: Labour or the Tories? Because
his message threatens both."
Hardman commented,
"To the shock and dismay of many local councillors and MPs, most of Westminster
and the entire Government, the assiduously straight-talking Mr.
Davies has just become one of the most
powerful politicians in Britain."
Columnist and pundit Gerald Warner,
writing for the Daily Telegraph's blog, called
Davies's tenure "the beginning of the end for
political correctness" and a sign that "the counter-revolution has
begun." His agenda, Warner
wrote, "against all the tenets of consensual British politics, consists of
doing what the public wants."

Two Christian organisations the Lawyers Christian Fellowship (LCF) and
Christian Action Research Education (CARE), have joined forces with the
All Party Pro-Life Group to launch a new viral campaign video into
cyberspace.
The Block of Wood Viral asks profound questions about the value of
human life in order to stimulate greater public engagement with the highly
controversial Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill which - among other
things - legalises the creation of animal-human hybrid embryos and saviour
siblings and could facilitate changes to UK abortion law.
As with all virals, The Block of Wood - expertly created by team
of artists Quirky Motion and Story Wise - is designed to be sent
from friend to friend and family to family by email. It has been posted on YouTube and social networking sites such as FaceBook and MySpace.
Reflecting on the new viral Ian Lucas,
the All Party Pro Life Co-ordinator said, 'In the tradition of
William Wilberforce
and the abolitionists who used pamphleteering (then a
new campaign tool) to get their message out, it is important that we use every
form of available technology to raise public awareness about the shocking
implications of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill.'
Andrea Minichiello Williams,
Director of Public Policy for the Lawyers' Christian Fellowship
commented, 'We want to use virals to make people think about the value of
human life and how we treat one another. The Human Fertilisation and
Embryology Bill is controversial. It will pretty much allow Scientists to do
anything they want with the embryo for up to 14 days including creating
animal-human hybrids. The Bill devalues human life and will lead to the
deconstruction of a civilised society. We are increasingly isolated in the
scientific world and are sleep-walking into a Brave New Britain.'

concluded: "I am delighted that we are today launching The Block of Wood
viral which asks the viewer to consider the value of human life and to reflect
on their response in light of the far reaching implications of the Human
Fertilisation and Embryology Bill? We want people to remember that the life

I am sure we are all aware that the major concern of the media is the “Economic
Crisis”. House price fall, credit crunch, economic downturn are portrayed as the
major issues facing our society today. Yet for decades our country has been
suffering two much more important emergencies. The “Moral Squeeze” has been
immense and resulted in the huge increase in family breakdown, violent crime,
liberal abortion legislation, immorality in public life and many other serious
issues. The “Evangelism Squeeze” is now on in a major way and we receive
regularly reports of the authorities trying to destroy the freedom we have to
preach the gospel in public places. Police and local authorities are regularly
trying to restrict preaching and tract distribution. One local authority in
Scotland has banned the distribution of material into the letter boxes in the
area. Even professing Christians are opposing the preaching of the gospel in a
biblical way protesting that today’s society and demographics demand a “fresh
approach”. Our freedoms are being eroded daily and outright opposition is
rising. We need the Lord to give us a renewed vision for Biblical Evangelism in
our current situation. So despite the economic crisis of our nation we
desperately need resurgence in evangelical fervour. Be assured of our continued

So forget the Economic Crunch – get STIRRED UP and EQUIPPED to take the gospel
