THE VISION

I have been given the same vision three times now, and I know this time I must be obedient and act on what I have been shown. The vision has been shown to me since I attended the Faenol Festival in Bangor, and the event as you will see, will be somewhat similar.

The vision I have had is to organise an event for Christians, hoping that many non-believers would attend and be saved.

This has come at an opportune time, as the Faenol Festival is holding their last festival in 2009, which frees up the weekend and site for 2010.

I see the event being held on a Sunday (August Bank Holiday weekend 2010).

I envisage it being a full day, starting with all age worship and preaching at the start; seminars until mid afternoon; singer / band; preaching and prayer; then finishing with a band (between 7 & 10); and then close.

Along the outside of the arena, there will be shops, refreshments, seminar areas, information areas, prayer areas, welcoming committees and first aid.

We need prayer support, helpers / volunteers, time etc. If you feel you can help, please contact me

AWESOME!      http://www.godtube.com/view_video.php?viewkey=ee73e63418003b47d7d5

A skit performed at the 2006 annual Smoky Mountain Winterfest event held every year near Gatlinburg, Tenn., has taken the video websites YouTube and GodTube by storm.  The skit depicts a soul straying and desperately returning to Christ after being caught up by the sins of sexual impurity, the party lifestyle, bulimia, self-mutilation and deception that leads toward suicide.  Christ, with loving power, fights the darkness and rescues the young woman out of her bondage.  Written by mission director Tim Houston from Baltimore, Md., the video communicates the message that we don’t have to be lost without hope in our sins, separated from Christ.  The authenticity of that
hope has drawn more than 3 million views of the video on GodTube and more than 1 million on YouTube.  Winterfest staff has received e-mails reporting people receiving Christ and healing as a result of watching the video.  Youth leaders nationwide have requested copies of the DVD in order to teach the skit to their drama teams to use in other ministry venues.

To view the video, click on the link above or log onto www.youtube.com and search “Lifehouse skit.”

The video may also be viewed on www.GodTube.com.

IN TRANSIT - STOPPING THE TRADE IN PEOPLE

Join BMS World Mission's In transit campaign against human trafficking, and support evangelical Christians in Albania as they work to combat the issue

The trade of people for exploitation - commonly known as human trafficking - is the fastest growing means by which people are caught in the trap of slavery today

Albania is primarily a country of origin for trafficking, with two-thirds sent to either Greece and Italy, and 1 in 50 reaching the UK

Send an e-card (available on the website) in support of the campaign - encourage your friends and family to do the same

Get lots of good resources (from the website) to help you and your church engage deeper with this issue
